CDPSE
Course Description
The CDPSE (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer) training course is designed to prepare professionals for ISACA’s globally recognized CDPSE certification. This course focuses on integrating privacy into technology solutions, enabling organizations to build systems that protect personal data while complying with global privacy regulations.
Learners will begin with core privacy concepts and principles, including data protection laws, privacy governance, and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy frameworks. The course explains how privacy requirements translate into technical and organizational controls.
The course covers privacy by design and by default, helping learners understand how to embed privacy controls throughout the system development lifecycle. Participants will explore data classification, consent management, data minimization, anonymization, and encryption techniques used to protect personal data.
A significant portion of the course focuses on privacy engineering and architecture, including designing privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs), secure data flows, and access controls. Learners will understand how to implement privacy controls across applications, cloud environments, and enterprise systems.
The course also addresses privacy risk management, incident response, breach handling, and monitoring. Learners will gain practical insights into assessing privacy risks, managing third-party data processors, and ensuring ongoing compliance.
This course is ideal for privacy engineers, security professionals, architects, developers, risk managers, and compliance professionals who are responsible for designing and implementing privacy solutions. By the end of the course, learners will be prepared to pass the CDPSE exam and build privacy-resilient systems that meet regulatory and business requirements.
