Prerequisites

1. The candidates who are enrolling for this course must have five years of working experience in information security and CCSP CBK domains. All those who fail to fulfill the eligibility criteria can take the exam to become an associate of (ISC)2 and can start working towards getting the experience to get the desired certification.

2. To qualify for the CCSP, candidates must pass the exam and have at least five years of cumulative, paid work experience in information technology, of which three years must be in information security, and one year in one or more of the six domains of the (ISC)2 CCSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK®).

3. 5 years of cumulative, paid work experience in information technologyAt least 3 years of 5 years of experience in information security1 year of experience in at least one of the 6 domains of (ISC)2If you do not have the required experience to become a CCSP, you may become an Associate of (ISC)2 after successfully passing the CCSP exam. The CCSP exam is scored on a scale of 0 to 1,000, with a passing score of 700 or higher. The scoring process is confidential, and candidates receive a pass/fail result without a detailed breakdown of their scores.

CPE stands for Continuing Professional Education.
